I am very pleased to announce the recent appointment of Vic Leibofsky to the position of Co-National
Director of World Outdoor Racquetball. Vic will focus on WOR’s national efforts for the Eastern
region of the country, while I will continue to serve as National Director, primarily concentrating on
WOR’s efforts in the Western region . This exciting appointment has become necessary due to the
huge growth in outdoor racquetball’s popularity throughout the east! With Vic’s acceptance to this
position, WOR will be able to better serve the increasing demands of its members, and continue to
grow outdoor racquetball as a whole. I personally selected Vic for this position knowing he possesses
all the skills necessary to tackle this demanding role. Vic & I will be working closely together & look
forward to serving all the members nationwide.

In addition, Angel Calderon has officially accepted the position of Florida WOR Rep, effective
immediately. As everyone in Florida already knows, Angel has been a driving force for WOR's efforts in

For all intents and purposes, Angel has always been co-Florida Director. The only reason I got involved
with WOR in the first place was to help Angel with what he was trying to get done. Starting in June 2006
when he brought the first WOR shootout to Holiday Park, Angel has relentlessly worked to further
outdoor racquetball throughout Florida. This was long overdue, commented Vic Leibofsky. Hank Marcus,
WOR Executive Director, recently commented, “Vic and Angel’s work in Florida has led to a huge
resurgence in the game, while bringing indoor & new players to outdoor. We are excited & proud to have him
willing to take on even more responsibility with WOR”.
