WOR GOES TO MEXICO FOR THE FIRST TIME
WOR & Juan de los Rios are proud to announce a historic first for outdoor racquetball.
DATES: August 29-31, 2008.
PLACE: Chihuahua City, Mexico.
DIVISIONS: Sings & Dubs - C, B, A, Open, Pro.
The event will have free transportation from hotel, big screens with live action, entrances
for Pro players, music, & food. This is going to be a great event with a party atmosphere &

2008 WOR NATIONAL TEAM
The players with the most points in their divisions were named to the 2008 WOR National Team. All of these players
will be recognized during an awards ceremony at the WOR-Ektelon Championships coming up in July at Marina Park
in Huntington Beach, Ca. This year, there are many players from all over the country such as Michigan, California,

Rocky Carson keeps his number 1 ranking in singles by defeating E-Force's Chris Crowther in the Pro Singles.
Mike Peters and Kevin Booth dominated the Pro Doubles and are looking strong for the WOR-Ektelon Championships.

JUNIORS DISCOVER GIANT EKTELON FIREBALLS FROM MARS
Two of Michigan's Junior outdoor players found these giant sized Ektelon Fireballs on the court. They apparently
fell out of nowhere from the sky. Check out the photo by clicking the thumb below.
#1 WOMENS PRO RHONDA RAJSICH NEEDS YOUR HELP
For those who do not know, Rhonda Rajsich was assaulted and attached in an unprovoked incident near her home.
Rhonda has been hospitalized and undergone reconstructive surgery.

FLORIDA TROPICAL PARK ARTICLE AND SLIDESHOW
Florida is throwing down some serious tourneys in preparation for the WOR-Ektelon Championships. This event was no
exception with a huge turnout, great prizes, and some IRT pros sneaking in to get their outdoor game on.

INTRO TO OUTDOOR TOURNEY AND INSTRUCTION
It's great to see a lot of new faces at all the WOR events. This special event was put on by Steve Cohen
Allan Kazem, Steve Fitzsimmons, and Greg Solis for brand new players to the outdoor game. It was a great
turn out with Solis giving everyone some coaching and instruction on the rules before the tourney began.

EKTELON'S CARSON AND RAJSICH FINISH THE YEAR #1 INDOOR AND OUTDOOR
Rocky Carson and Rhonda Rajsich dominated the 2007/2008 season. Carson is now ranked as the #1 Indoor
and Outdoor player in the world. Rhonda finished her third straight season in the #1 spot on the WPRO tour

DREAM SEASON FOR TEAM EKTELON - THE THREE R's
Rocky, Rhonda, and Ruben (The Three R's) have had a dominating season. Rocky and Rhonda finished the year #1
both indoor and outdoor, while Ruben Gonzalez has been winning on the Classic Pro Tour. Click the following link for

SOSTRE AND RAMIREZ 1-WALL UNDEFEATED STREAK BROKEN
Robert Sostre and Freddy Ramirez unbeaten 1-wall streak was finally broken! Robert and Freddy put up a great
fight, but as the match progressed Dave Blatt and Ernesto Myrie, aka The Fish, blew them out of the water with
the score ending at (21 to 9)! Robert and Freddy were shooting bullets from the rear court. Dave and Fish were
dinking & angling out left to right. Dave and Fish are 1-wall paddleball pros and have been for a very long time.
Seemed as if a lot of pressure was on Sostre & Ramirez to defend their long time unbeaten streak. On a sour note,
Sostre tore his achilles tendon in a handball tournament and will be out for a while. Wish him a speedy recovery.

The Florida crew seems to love having their own IRT Pro show up at their courts and play outdoor. Alejandro Herrera has
kindly taken to the outdoor game and loves showing up to throw some heat in the hot Florida sunshine. Check out the pics
