2007 SUPERBOWL SHOOTOUT RESULTS . . .
The weather was perfect. Sunshine and 80 degrees with all participants bringing their A game. Can't wait to see the skill level at
the WOR Championships this July in Huntington Beach, Ca. The courts here are fast, which made the action that much faster!
Rocky Carson & Rob Hoff were just a little bit better than the competition with Rocky hitting superman Z-serves throughout the day
and Rob Hoff making spectacular gets. A total of 10 teams entered, including junior players Sam Barrera and Tyler Smith. Both played
tough and refused to be spotted any points in the Open/Pro division! This was a great start for the New Year. The round robin was
two games to 15, with the top 2 teams (most points) from each group advancing into the semi's. The semi's were played one game
to 15, and the final was one game to 21.
